ARTROCKER Magazine presents The Chapman Family & O.Children Tour

The Georgian Theatre, Stockton is very proud to welcome the ARTROCKER Magazine double headline tour featuring The Chapman Family and O.Children.

Teesside most macabre act, The Chapman Family are set to join forces with fellow ARTROCKER regulars O.Children on a co-headline tour of the UK through March.

To coincide with the eagerly anticipated release of The Chapman Family’s debut album Burn Your Town on March 7th, the band will hit the road with their trademark thrilling live show.

Furthermore – to celebrate the tour both The Chapman Family and O.Children will be remixing a song from one another to be made available as a free download around the dates.

Dark new-wave pop noirists O.Children return to The Georgian Theatre after a storming set at 2010’s Fringe Festival. Named after a Nick Cave & the Bad Seeds song, London-based outfit released their self-titled debut album in July to rapturous acclaim.

Taking influence from the dark, melancholy sounds of Joy Division while also leaning heavily towards the grandiose, goth rock sound that Sisters of Mercy and Fields of the Nephilim produced, O.Children create a rich, atmospheric sound.

They posses a rare combination of confidence, talent and swagger which leaves the audience gasping for more.

“Goth music just got hot.” NME

The Chapman Family has one hell of a year ahead, and not a bad one behind them either. 2010 was a good year for the lads to say the least; ARTROCKER named their track All Fall Down as the single of the year, playing the music industries biggest event SXSW, jetting off to Tokyo to support Stereophonics plus playing a countless number of smashing gigs around the world.

2011 is set to keep the momentum going as they support The Joy Formidable over February before heading out on the ARTROCKER Tour, and release their highly anticipated debut album Burn Your Town.

“It’s the best rock song of the year so far.” ARTROCKER on All Fall Down

Needless to say this is a gig you don’t want to miss out on…
