David Harbottle and the Friendly Cats are a seven piece acoustic folk outfit from Liverpool who pride themselves on originality and musical independence. Following on from their debut EP ‘Strangers’ they’re currently mastering their debut album due for release later this year. www.myspace.com/davidharbottle

Alex Hulme is a young musician from Lancashire, currently studying at LIPA. Signed to Cityscape Records, Alex already has a number of releases under his belt and plenty of radio appearances too. Great songs with live performances to match, Alex Hulme is one to watch. alexhulme.net

Troy Faid is an incredibly talented musician from Leeds. BBC6 Music’s Tom Robinson described Troy as a “stunning guitarist and songwriter” and NormanRecords.com said his music was “passionately executed”. His first albuem Last Week’s Tune is available to buy from iTunes, and Troy will be playing for us in Liverpool before heading out to play Strummercamp the next day. If you like great guitar playing like Drake and Jansch, you’ll love Troy Faid! www.myspace.com/troyfaid

Kristi Michele is from the land of the Governator, California, and is a late addition to the lineup. Kristi is a wonderful singer-songwriter from Los Angeles who is visiting the UK to play at Stuart Anthony’s album launch event, and when we heard she had a spare night we just had to book her to play at the View Two. Be prepared for sublime songs telling stories of imagination running wild, and modern day fairy tales of the mind. www.kristimichele.com Doors open at 8.00pm, and the music starts at 8.30pm and goes through to 11.00pm
